Each person can submit one solo-authored paper and one co-authored paper. Please include a note about any specific accessibility requirements (e.g. BSL interpretation) when you submit your abstract.<br><br>We invite the following submissions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-normal-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Standard paper presentation<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>The standard presentation format will be a 20 minute presentation + 10 minute Q&amp;A. Written abstracts should be <strong>no more than<\/strong> <strong>500 words<\/strong> long (references excluded) and should be fully anonymised.<br><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-normal-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Lightning talk presentation<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>This session allows Masters and Doctoral students\/candidates, as well as advanced Undergraduate students, to discuss their research and academic work in progress with colleagues in a supportive forum. Presenters will have 10 minutes to share their work-in-progress, followed by a 5-minute discussion with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit a 150-word (max.) abstract detailing the project aims and current findings. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-normal-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Project launch presentation<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>We will start a new genre of presentation at LavLang32 &#8211; Project Launch &#8211; an opportunity for<strong>&nbsp;graduate students&nbsp;and post-docs<\/strong>&nbsp;at the early stages of a new project to present and discuss their plans, and get constructive feedback and advice from the LavLang community. We are committed to ensuring a constructive and friendly discussion. Presenters will have 10 minutes to share their work-in-progress, followed by a 5-minute discussion with the audience. <br><br>Please submit a 150-word (max.) abstract detailing: the intended aims and objectives of your project, your methodological approach, and the likely stage of your research by the time of the conference (e.g., establishing your methodology, applying for ethical approval, beginning data collection, starting your analysis, etc).&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-normal-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Panel sessions<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Topical panel session proposals are also welcomed. Individuals proposing panel sessions are responsible for soliciting and selecting abstracts (single session: four 30-min slots), and then submitting a complete proposal including mention of <strong>all<\/strong> papers to be included in the panel as well as the details of the panel topic. The entire panel proposal abstract should be no more than 500 words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Papers for presentation within a panel session should also be submitted individually.
